Position Details: Start Date : Immediate Location : Sites across Logan, Ipswich, South Brisbane, and Gold Coast. Duration : Full-time permanent role; 38-hour work week from Monday to Friday. Requirements : • A current working with children check (blue card) or the ability to obtain • Satisfactory National Criminal History Check • Hold a Construction trade qualification • Have the skills and experience to carry out simple construction projects such as: home renovations, fencing, retaining walls, and basic concreting structures. • Excellent communication skills and a passion for mentoring young talents Role Overview : Step into an enriching role where you can impart your construction knowledge and skills to young people. As a trainer and mentor, you will spearhead small teams of young individuals, helping them undertake and complete simple construction projects across South East Queensland. Typical Projects include: • Disabled Modifications • Home renovations • Fencing • Retaining walls • Concreting • Carpentry Your role bridges experienced tradespeople with disadvantaged young people, fostering a nurturing environment of support, positive reinforcement and achievement.
