We have an exciting opportunity for a commercially savvy Sales Analyst to join our Nutrition division based at our head office in Macquarie Park . Working closely with the Sales Director and Ethical Nutrition team, this role provides: - Robust data insights and analytics to inform strategy and business activities - Reliable identification of high-return/high-priority business opportunities - Timely tool, dashboard, and report development to support decision-making and brand/channel activities Responsibilities include (and not limited to): - Providing market intelligence including managing both internal and external market data sources - Participating in analytical exercises - Working closely with sales and marketing to evaluation promotional ROI - Conduct ad hoc market research projects for new and existing products and provide insight into future market opportunities - Generate and maintain sales/marketing reports, analyse sales and marketing data and evaluate performance of marketing campaigns - Pricing preparation and database maintenance, price approval matrixes, notification of pricing changes to customers, pricing of tenders, attending to pricing queries - Assist in the sales planning cycle and monthly projection process by providing analysis by region/territories/customers - Liaise with and disseminate timely and appropriate sales and margin analytical data to sales team and management - Develop and maintain models to capture monthly performance of Sales Commission Plans Who we're looking for: - Tertiary qualifications in commerce, business and/or finance - Strong analytical, statistical and numerical/mathematical skills - Exposure and an understanding of market audit data and proprietary territory management systems, e.g. IMS data, BPCS, Cognos, Qlikview, Salesform.com, etc - Advanced excel skills with at least a basic level of computer programming skills - Commercially savvy; able to translate data analysis to make commercial recommendations - Attention to detail, organisation and ability to manage multiple priorities - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Great at problem solving; you think outside of the box Due to the inherent requirements of the role, the preferred candidate must provide evidence of full COVID-19 vaccination before the commencement date and maintain a fully vaccinated status for the period of employment.
