About the role: Bring your passion and current experience and knowledge in the Tourism & Hospitality industry and join our team as a Class Preparation Assistant at our Orange campus. The Class Preparation Assistant is responsible for all hygiene and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and compliance criteria around responsible storage and disposal of food, as well as preparation of classroom commodities and food preparation, classroom cleaning and set up. Your day-to-day activities will include shopping, washing up, quality control of goods and managing equipment levels. About you: You are a self-starter who is willing to be hands on to support learning outcomes and delivery in the classroom. You are excited to share your hospitality industry knowledge and experience with others and available for Temporary Part time Part year 15 hours per week, 36 weeks per year till August 2024. You will have: • Sound knowledge of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles and safe work practices including a Food Safety Supervisors Certificate, or a willingness to obtain. • Knowledge of relevant consumables and industry equipment. • Demonstrated experience in stores procurement and commercial kitchen procedures and processes.
