About The Role We're seeking an Internal Sales Representative with previous sales experience who wants to work with other like-minded, enthusiastic people in our team. Reporting to the Victorian Sales Manager, you will be promoting, selling and securing orders from both current and prospective clients. Further, you will be responsible for: - Contribute to achieving sales budget as defined. - Maintain a close regular & professional working relationship with existing & prospective customers to maximise ASSA ABLOY Door Group market share. - Liaise with internal personnel to maximise customer service levels. - Promptly and competently attend to all customers enquires or complaints. - Monitor Competitor and Customer activity. - Monitor and update all customer information in the relevant databases. - Report market intelligence to any information that will give ASSA ABLOY Door Group an advantage over competitors. - Provide activity reports to Sales Managers. - Attend Sales Meetings, Training Sessions and other industry as required. - Action inbound leads, customer RFI for quotation. - Review tender information i.e., Plans, specifications, and schedules to determine quantities and requirements including conversion of schedules. - Determine prices from price lists and other research including the internal team. - Register projects for quoting and compilation of accurate quotations. - Follow up quotation to determine successful builder and outcome. - Negotiation of sales. - Revise tender information on orders for presentation to Project Administration team. About you We are seeking someone who has strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work well with systems and procedures. To be successful in this role you will have the following - 1-2 years sales experience - Exposure as an estimator will be highly regarded - Previous experience in Manufacturing and Sales will be highly regarded - Basic skill in the estimation of building construction materials in respect to the supply of frames - pressed metal, timber jambs, cavity sliding. Doors - Timber, fire rated, acoustic etc. - Ability to understand and determine information from plans, specifications, and schedules. - Ability to communicate satisfactorily with management, clients, specifiers, and subcontractors. - Sound level of skill in the use of windows suite of tools. - Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities. - Excellent planning, time management and prioritisation skills.
