A great opportunity for an experienced Sustainability Engineer to join a growing renewable energy organisation in Sydney About the Opportunity: We are working with a leading organisation who are at the forefront of providing energy as a service within in the renewables space. The opportunity as a Sustainability Engineer will see you contribute to the net zero movement covering the end-to-end process across a variety of industries, whilst refining each clients portfolio regarding their sustainability potential. About You: Tertiary degree in electrical, mechanical, mechatronic engineering discipline or similar 4 - 6 years experience as a sustainability engineer or similar role Experience delivering quality technical solutions whilst delivering innovations A technical background in energy and water efficiency and waste management practices High level of exposure across energy/utility performance improvements on a commercial, industrial and government level HVAC, BMS and lighting building services experience Initiative regarding engineering solutions for reducing utility usage and emissions Site exposure related to energy generation systems - cogeneration and solar PV Commercial and sales acumen Be across the latest energy efficiency technology Responsibilities: Be responsible for delivery on assigned services for allocated clients by operating as a trusted advisor Scope and delivery innovative sustainability solutions Establish and maintain ongoing client relationships Ability to clearly communicate and engage across a diverse range of clients and people at all professional levels, including sales deliveries, proposal presentations and closing opportunities Ensure proposed engagements/margin assumptions are delivered to that margin Source and validate new technology to deliver energy and water savings Development and review of engineering calculations and cost estimates Develop and review sales proposal content Deliver engineering content as required for tenders Mentor and assist in the development of Junior Advisors skill sets Delivery of energy, water and waste audits, NABERS & BEEC, solutions pilots and rollouts.
