Discover an exciting opportunity with our client, one of Sydney’s leading Funeral Directors who are actively seeking a dedicated Full-Time Receptionist to become a valued member of their warm and supportive team.As the face of the organisation, you will be the initial point of contact, extending compassion and empathy to client families during their time of need. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting in the arrangement of Funeral Services. Welcoming and greeting families and attendees during Funeral Services. Collaborating with Funeral Directors on preparations and planning. Potentially be available for the after hours on call roster. Ad hoc duties as required. Developing an understanding of the confidentiality associated with funeral work. To be successful in this role, you will have the following: A compassionate and empathetic nature and be comfortable working in a funeral environment. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal). Proficient computer skills – word, excel, power point, publisher, and Gmail. The ability to lift heavy objects and be physically fit. A customer focused attitude and a dedication to providing exceptional service to clients. A polished and professional appearance and demeanour.
