If so, you might be the perfect fit for the City's Works team As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of plant equipment, such as Front-End Loader, Excavator, Roller and/or Bobcat. If you have tickets and experience with these machines, that's a big plus You will also perform manual labouring duties with a focus on safety and efficiency. And you will deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external clients, ensuring that the operations run smoothly and effectively. Could this be the career move you are looking for? You will have proven skills in the construction and civil field which will be complemented by ongoing training, coaching and mentoring by the team. As well as being able to operate plant and equipment, you will ideally have the following: A Heavy Rigid driver's licence (Manual or Automatic) Construction and Maintenance plant tickets such as excavator, bobcat etc White Card Basic Traffic Management Certificate (or willing to obtain, funded by the City) Satisfactory National Police Clearance (under 12 months) Ability to work collaboratively and safely in a team environment Desire to upskill your experience in roadworks, drainage maintenance and road maintenance/bitumen works What we offer you In exchange for your hard work, you'll be well rewarded with a Level 3 salary of $72,359.14.
