Role description: Due to continued growth across our Urban Development & Regeneration business, we are looking for Civil Designers and Drafters to join our Gold Coast / Brisbane team to deliver land development projects with a focus on residential greenfield, urban regeneration, industrial, roads, public infrastructure and water projects. You will have direct access to the QLD Urban Development Manager and Principal Engineers to learn from and further develop your skillset. Role accountabilities: Providing quality delivery of the concept design using 3D Models or CAD; Successfully manage, plan, resource and complete assigned modelling projects within agreed budgets and deadlines; Assisting the Project Manager in determining the drafting & other design resources required for a project plan including elements suitable for outsourcing; Ensuring the production of project documents that are accurate, clear and concise and compliant with best practice and any other quality standards dictated by the nature of the project; Resolving complex technical drafting and design issues; and Developing and maintaining professional relationships with Project Managers, Design Engineers and drafters within other disciplines. You'll have relevant qualifications in civil engineering or design and: Demonstrated industry experience in the application of Civil 3D software using your in-depth knowledge of civil design standards; Drafting expertise in ensuring high-quality delivery of projects; Excellent client-focus and a sound technical know-how; Ability to develop elements of design from concept sketches to detailed drawings; and A high attention to details, excellent client-focus and ability to deliver quality output within the timeline.
