We are currently looking for casual Forklift Operator to help us grow Marley Spoon, at our fulfilment centre located in Jandakot, WA. Your role The Forklift Operator will perform activities as directed in the warehouse and is responsible for following all safety, GMP and Marley Spoon policies and procedures. The role entails: Operating forklifts Manual handling General housekeeping duties Stocktake Responsibilities: Unloading materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places Locating and moving stock to pallets or crates for storage Identifying damages and reporting shortages or quality deficiencies Transporting raw materials to production staging Inspecting machinery to determine the need for repairs and guaranteeing safety by performing regular start up checks Keeping updated records of inventory and activity logs Complying with company policies and legal guidelines Helping maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities Requirements This is you: Must be able to work Monday-Friday (occasional Saturday) with a 6am start Able to work in different areas throughout the Fulfilment Centre, with changing temperatures Must be able to lift up to 15 Kg crates Must have full working rights in Australia Desire and knowledge of working in Pick and Packing Fulfilment Centre Benefits What you’ll get: Discounted Marley Spoon boxes, delivered to your door 24/7/365 access to our Employee Assistance Program (health wellbeing support) Flat hierarchies and a great team spirit Free on-site parking An open, diverse and respectful working environment with over 50 nationalities worldwide The possibility to learn about everything that you are curious about, regardless of which function or department Our mantra is that growth is a shared journey WhenYouGrowWeGrow.
