We are seeking a skilled and creative Software Developer to join our expert team who are continuously learning - using the latest advancements in AR and VR technology. You will be responsible for revolutionising workflows, building and streamlining the process of importing, processing, and exporting various 3D file formats. What you will be doing:- Develop and implement automation workflows to optimise import, processing, and export of 3D assets. Working side by side with conversion artist teams to understand how to automate and convert their process. Collaborate closely with the development team, understanding project requirements, and contributing to optimization and automation efforts. Generate lightmaps UV’s, implement Level of Detail (LOD) systems, automate texture extraction, and automatically apply materials. Design and implement a robust system for efficient asset validation and transfer, ensuring seamless integration with predefined scene templates. Utilise cutting-edge light baking engines to optimise visual render quality. What you can bring to the team:- Minimum 5 years software development experience in Python. Worked on a continuous Python development project. Used Python in developing automated workflows is a bonus Have used any one of the following tools: Maya, Blender or Autodesk 3ds Max. Knowledge with 3D modelling software, especially in automating tasks.
