About the role Co-located with our Glynde Residential Aged Care Facility, Kafé Schulze is a popular venue for local residents and visitors to the facility to meet for breakfast, brunch, lunch or just coffee & cake. The café is licenced and the venue for local functions such as schnitzel night. Support the daily operations of the Café Take and deliver food and beverage orders Take payments in cash and via EFTPOS Stock pastry displays and other inventory Clean tables, counters, food prep areas and equipment as required Use an espresso machine About you You are hardworking and love to make people feel good. Providing great customer service comes naturally to you and you’re always looking for ways to improve your customer’s experience. Well-presented and organised Previous experience in a similar position highly regarded Experience using commercial kitchen equipment and intermediate culinary skills. Certificate III in hospitality or food services highly regarded. Exceptional customer service skills and work ethic Genuine commitment to safety requirements and their implementation Well organised and good time management skills Candidates may be subject to a pre-employment medical assessment with the successful candidate requiring the current NDIS worker clearance. Current Flu vaccination, COVID-19 vaccinations (2 doses and 1 booster) are highly recommended. Why LHG?
