Sales / Warehouse Assistant — Rutherford, Maitland Area

The Role The role of Sales / Warehouse Assistant will see you working in our beautiful store in Rutherford, engaging with our customers and supporting our Warehouse Manager to ensure our valued customers are provided with an exceptional end to end experience including: Assessing the customer’s needs and providing them with styling solutions and recommendations; Handling the POS and ensuring that all steps are completed accurately; Unloading trucks, assembling furniture and positioning product on our showroom floor. This is a unique role, suitable for someone with strong customer service skills and who’s also not afraid to get their hands dirty You must possess the physical ability and willingness to unload trucks, assemble, move and display furniture pieces and lighting within the store in line with our brand guidelines. This position will offer you varied hours aligned with your availability and you must be able to work across a 7-day rotating roster including at least one weekend day. To be successful you must have: Ideally worked in a retail sales role or a role with a heavy customer service focus. Ideally had warehouse experience in furniture or similar industry. The physical capability to handle our products. Intermediate PC skills, including experience using Excel A passion to help people and a desire to get results. About t he Role The role of Warehouse Supervisor will see you working in one of our largest stores within Early Settler and to effectively support the Store Manager in regards to all stock and freight movements and help implement improvements within the warehousing environment. This position is a Fulltime role and you must be able to work across a 7-day rotating roster including at least one weekend day. What we will expect from you: Loading of weekly trucks and containers. Assisting customers with order collections. Supporting the sales team with stock/product movement. Receipting of goods into our operating system Maintain all Warehouse stock movements and inventory. Supervising of warehousing staff to optimise their productivity while meeting all aspects of OH&S requirements To harmoniously work as part of a team, use your initiative, problem solve and handle a fast paced environment. To be available during our peak trading times during December, January, February and June. To be successful you must have: Ideally worked in a similar role with experience in warehousing and distribution. A passion to help people and a desire to get results.
