Disability Support Worker – Weekday Mornings & Evening Shifts Eastern & South-Eastern Melbourne | Weekdays & Evenings Join the extraordinary team at Prestige Inhome Care and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. We are seeking a compassionate, experienced and reliable Disability Support Worker to provide high-quality in-home disability support across Melbourne's eastern and south-eastern suburbs. The Opportunity We are looking for someone who is available for weekday morning shifts between 7am and 3pm, with a minimum availability requirement from Monday to Thursday. Evening availability from 5pm to 9pm, Thursday to Sunday, is also required. The areas covered include Mooroolbark, Croydon, Ferntree Gully, Doncaster and Scoresby in the east, as well as Noble Park North, Springvale and Lynbrook in the south-east. Reasonable travel between client locations may be required. Essential Experience A current Working With Children Check is mandatory for this role. You will need experience in NDIS disability support, rather than aged-care-only experience, and be confident working autonomously in clients' homes. You must be confident supporting children, with our youngest client being 13 years old. Experience and confidence supporting clients with complex care needs, including Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and behaviours of concern, is essential. Manual Handling experience is a mandatory requirement, including hands-on experience working with clients using hoists, slide sheets and other manual handling equipment. Experience supporting clients with PEG feeding and NIV management is also required. Why Join Prestige Inhome Care? We are proud to have been recognised as one of AFR BOSS Best Places to Work for two consecutive years. This recognition reflects our supportive, empowering and values-driven workplace culture. At Prestige, our people are our greatest asset. We provide the support, training and resources you need to deliver exceptional care. You'll also enjoy competitive pay, flexible work, professional growth and ongoing training and development opportunities, a paid welcome, 24/7 support, recognition and reward programs, wellbeing support through our Employee Assistance Program, a strong team culture, Prestige uniforms, badges and PPE, and easy access to shift information through our mobile app. Make a Difference If you have the experience and confidence to support clients with complex disability needs in their own homes, we'd love to hear from you. If you are available Monday to Thursday between 7am and 3pm, and Thursday to Sunday between 5pm and 9pm, and can travel across the eastern and south-eastern suburbs listed above, apply today to join the Prestige Inhome Care team.
