Forklift Operator / Labourer $37.64 per hour — $46.67 per hour About the Role We are currently seeking reliable and experienced Forklift Operators/Labourers to join a busy recycling facility based in Yatala. This is a hands-on position that combines forklift operation, recycling machinery operation, material handling and general labouring duties. The successful candidates will be comfortable working in a physical environment and happy to assist across different areas of the facility as required. Key Duties & Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts to move recyclable materials and products around the facility Load and unload recyclable products, materials, machinery and equipment Assist with the operation of recycling equipment and machinery Load and feed materials into recycling machinery as required Monitor recycling equipment and report any issues to supervisors Perform general manual labour and material handling duties Assist forklift operators and other team members as required Move and organise materials throughout the yard and processing areas Keep work areas clean, tidy and free from hazards Perform general housekeeping and yard maintenance Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and company policies About You The ideal candidate will have: Current LF Forklift Licence – Essential Previous forklift operating experience Experience in recycling, manufacturing, warehousing or a similar environment is highly regarded A willingness to perform general labouring and manual handling duties Comfortable working around machinery and in an outdoor/industrial environment Good physical fitness and the ability to perform repetitive manual tasks Strong safety awareness Reliable and punctual work ethic A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with minimal supervision Shift Times & Pay Rates Monday to Friday Day Shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm — $37.64 per hour penalties Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm — $42.91 per hour penalties Night Shift: 10:00pm – 6:00am — $46.67 per hour penalties What’s on Offer?
