This is an exciting opportunity to support turning ideas into engaging three-dimensional environments that inspire, educate and connect audiences. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will help developing exhibition concepts from initial ideas through to detailed design documentation, collaborating with curators, producers, conservators, registrars, technical specialists and external creatives. Your work will contribute to exhibitions, major installations, visible collection displays, events and experiential projects across the Powerhouse program. You'll produce high-quality 2D and 3D visualisations, plans, elevations and fabrication documentation, while ensuring designs are practical, buildable and meet project objectives. Throughout delivery, you'll work closely with production teams, contractors and suppliers to achieve exceptional design outcomes that reflect Powerhouse's commitment to innovation and design excellence. We're looking for someone with experience in exhibition, interior, architectural or spatial design who is confident using industry-standard design software and enjoys working collaboratively across a range of creative disciplines. You'll bring strong design thinking, excellent communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic project environment.
