You’ll also have the chance to cross-train across departments and support the team during peak periods and leave coverage. Key Responsibilities: Manifest consignments and ensure freight documentation is accurate and compliant Support load planning and daily transport operations Coordinate and manage customer orders and job requests Liaise with drivers, customers, and operational teams to ensure service expectations are met Manage freight bookings, delivery schedules, and customer time slot requests Debrief driver paperwork and close out daily runs Assist with depot pallet control and tracking Maintain transport records and regulatory documentation Provide general administrative support to the Administration and Depot Manager Contribute to the smooth and efficient running of depot operations What You'll Bring: Previous experience in a transport administration, operations support, or scheduling role Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think quickly and make sound decisions Resilient and adaptable approach, with the ability to work under pressure Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with drivers, customers, and internal teams Transport industry experience preferred, but not essential — training will be provided to the right candidate BFM accreditation, or willingness to obtain, with an understanding of NHVR regulations considered advantageous We welcome candidates from high-intensity industries like logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, and retail—even if you haven’t worked in transport before.
