The primary responsibility is to ensure that the teams under their supervision operate at peak efficiency in alignment with business requirements. Location: Melbourne Salary: $75,000 Super Hours: Monday to Friday | 7:30am – 3:30pm | Full-Time We're seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Manager to join a well-established and growing business. This is a confidential recruitment process , and due to the nature of the opportunity, the successful applicant will be joining a company that values strong leadership, teamwork, and operational excellence. This is not a role where you'll be sitting behind a desk all day. We're looking for a leader who enjoys being on the warehouse floor, leading by example, working alongside the team, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves. You'll be actively involved in container unloading, warehouse operations, and physically demanding tasks while ensuring the warehouse runs efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise the day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, dispatch, and shipping. Work alongside the warehouse team, assisting with container unloading and general warehouse duties. Lead by example by maintaining a strong work ethic and positive attitude. Coordinate daily workflows to ensure productivity and on-time deliveries. Optimise warehouse layout and storage locations to maximise efficiency. Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, stock audits, and WMS transactions. Ensure all warehouse equipment is maintained and operated safely. Monitor warehouse performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Recruit, train, mentor, and support warehouse staff. Conduct daily toolbox meetings and maintain a strong safety culture. Cross-train employees to create a flexible and high-performing team. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Previous experience as a Warehouse Manager or Warehouse Supervisor A hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate and develop a team. A willingness to work on the warehouse floor and perform physically demanding tasks when required. Experience unloading containers and working within a fast-paced warehouse environment. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and warehouse management systems (WMS). Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills. A commitment to workplace health and safety.
