ACLE Services is seeking a motivated and skilled Industrial Engineer to join our growing team in Camberwell, Victoria, supporting the successful delivery of industry-leading renewable energy and infrastructure projects. Primary Objective In this role, you will leverage your expertise in process optimisation, operational efficiency, resource planning, and quality management to improve project performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with project managers, site teams, and key stakeholders, you will help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Duties and Responsibilities Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to analyse, design, and improve workflows, processes, and systems for solar farm projects, including construction, logistics, and commissioning activities. Conduct feasibility studies and operational assessments to optimise processes for cost-effectiveness, productivity, resource utilisation, and environmental sustainability. Develop process maps, models, and simulations using appropriate tools to improve efficiency in project delivery and identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies. Coordinate with project, procurement, and supply chain teams to optimise material flow, logistics planning, and inventory management. Perform time, motion, and productivity studies to establish benchmarks and improve labour, plant, and equipment utilisation. Develop and implement quality assurance and process control methodologies to ensure consistency, reliability, and efficiency across project activities. Provide technical support to onsite teams to improve construction methodologies, sequencing, and work packaging, ensuring alignment with project schedules and productivity targets. Monitor and evaluate project performance metrics (cost, schedule, productivity), identifying trends and opportunities for continuous improvement. Identify operational risks and inefficiencies and implement improvement initiatives to mitigate delays, cost overruns, and resource constraints. Support compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company systems, including safety, quality, and environmental obligations. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field Proven experience in process improvement, operations optimisation, or project delivery, preferably within construction, infrastructure, or renewable energy sectors. Proficiency in data analysis tools and process modelling software (e.g., Excel advanced, Power BI, simulation tools). Strong understanding of lean principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement frameworks. Knowledge of project management principles, scheduling, and cost control practices. Familiarity with relevant standards and operational best practices within construction or energy sectors. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities with attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced project environment. Possession of a valid White Card (Construction Induction Card). Desirable Experience in renewable energy or large-scale infrastructure projects. Experience with digital project tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, BIM coordination tools). Knowledge of logistics optimisation, supply chain management, and construction productivity improvement. Exposure to sustainability practices and lifecycle analysis in project delivery.
