About the Company A well-established Building Services consultancy that's been operating in Sydney for over 30 years. With around 50 engineers across three offices, they've built an excellent reputation and have a strong pipeline of repeat work from some of Australia's leading construction and property businesses. Their bread and butter is refurbishment and fit-out projects, but they also act as landlord representatives on a range of commercial assets, carrying out tenant fit-out reviews, condition assessments and minor works. It's a varied workload that gives engineers exposure to much more than just design. About the Role This is a great opportunity for an Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer looking to continue developing within a supportive consultancy environment. You'll work across projects from concept through to completion, giving you exposure to the full design lifecycle rather than just one stage of a project. Day to day you'll be involved in: HVAC design and calculations Site inspections and client meetings Coordination with architects, contractors and other building services disciplines Technical documentation and project delivery Condition assessments and landlord representative work The business encourages engineers to get involved with clients early in their careers, so it's a great opportunity if you're looking to become more consultative and take on greater responsibility. Skills & Experience We're keen to speak with engineers who have: Around 3-6 years' experience within Mechanical Building Services Design Experience using CAMEL or similar HVAC design software A good understanding of Australian Standards and NCC requirements Experience delivering commercial, refurbishment or fit-out projects Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach A genuine interest in developing your client-facing and project management skills Culture & Benefits to You One of the biggest strengths of this business is the culture.
