HC Truck Driver — Hazelmere, Swan Area

Toll Recruit are currently seeking experienced HC Drivers to join a busy retail logistics operation supporting BIG W deliveries based in Hazelmere, WA . This role involves operating modern HC Pantech trucks delivering retail freight to BIG W stores while maintaining a strong focus on safety, customer service, and compliance. Please note that this is a casual to permanent opportunity. The client is looking to transition successful candidates to permanent employment as quickly as possible, based on performance and meeting the required criteria. The pay rates are as follows: Casual: $42.17 per hour Permanent: $33.74 per hour While employed on a casual basis, you will receive the higher casual hourly rate. Following a successful transition to permanent employment, your base hourly rate will be $33.74, along with the applicable permanent employee entitlements. Start Times: 5-6am Start Key Responsibilities Operate modern HC Pantech trucks delivering retail freight to BIG W local stores Safely unload freight using electric pallet jacks (sometimes manual pallet jack) Complete and submit delivery documentation and run sheets Follow all site safety procedures and participate in inductions and toolbox talks Conduct pre-start vehicle checks and report any defects Safely maneuver and reverse into loading docks and store delivery points Work across weekdays and weekends as required What We're Looking For Current HC Licence Minimum 1 year HC driving experience Experience operating Pantech vehicles Electric pallet jack experience preferred Confidence reversing into finger docks and confined delivery areas Strong communication skills and professional presentation Previous retail, grocery, or multi-drop delivery experience highly regarded Strong commitment to safety and compliance Valid WA Commercial Driver's Medical Current WA Record of Traffic Infringement Notice issued within the last 1 month Current WA Fatigue Management Certificate What's In It For You Competitive pay rates 8-10 hours per day Ongoing casual opportunities with regular shifts available Work with a leading Australian retail brand Modern fleet and well-maintained equipment Supportive team environment Opportunity for ongoing work for reliable drivers If this sounds like the opportunity you are looking for, apply now About Toll Group At Toll, we do more than just logistics - we move the businesses that move the world.
