Digital Content Designer — Sydney CBD, Sydney

Fixed term contract until August 2027 Full Time Hybrid Work The Role The Digital Content Designer monitors, fulfils and manages web requests in a timely manner to best-practice digital standards. They ensure content is fit-for-purpose on a range of channels and is written in Plain English to ensure simple, intuitive digital experiences. Excellent customer service, internal stakeholder management, collaboration and content management skills are critical to the success of this role. Responsibilities include: Monitor and manage the BAU workflow through the team’s Jira ticketing system and Digital Experience inbox Respond to and fulfil website update requests on the Sitefinity Content Management System (CMS) Rewrite and repurpose content to suit online readers and digital channels following appropriate guidelines Continually optimise and review website content and interactive tools to ensure they meet brand, style and digital best-practice Regularly review website content, structure, and functionality to ensure web content is accurate, consistent, current and relevant Regularly meet with internal stakeholders to report on content and maintain the currency and accuracy of content Assist the team with user research such as interviews, observation studies, usability testing and data analytics Assist in the development of content management guidelines and socialise these with our business stakeholders Use digital analytics and other tools to drive data-based decisions and optimise through ongoing monitoring Desired Skills and Experience The successful candidate will have: Degree qualified in a relevant discipline or demonstrated experience in content design and writing or web administration with a content quality focus. Excellent time management, prioritisation and organisational skills Proficient in writing in Plain English Internal stakeholder management and relationship building experience Experience in web content management or willingness and curiosity to learn Working knowledge of HTML and its applications in a content management system Previous experience with sourcing, writing and developing digital content Content editing and managing revision rounds and migration Ability to understand and contribute to functional requirements and translate them into technical design Understanding W3C Standards for web content design, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) and inclusive design Ability to apply data to continuously improve online content Ability to develop digital or paper-based wireframes and prototypes that are clear and demonstrate the user journey To apply, please send your resume and short cover letter We will be shortlisting candidates as applications are received, and the advertisement may close prior to the listed end date if a suitable candidate is identified
