Are you an experienced Mechanical Project Manager looking to step into a genuine leadership role with a growing commercial HVAC contractor? We're partnering with a well-established and rapidly expanding mechanical services contractor that is investing heavily in its Projects division and leadership team. Due to continued growth and an increasing pipeline of major commercial projects, they are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Manager to oversee projects from tender through to completion. This is an opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of major HVAC projects while helping shape the future of a growing business. The Role This is far more than a traditional Project Manager position. You'll oversee projects from the earliest stages of tender and design coordination through construction and final handover, working closely with internal design teams, estimators, site managers, subcontractors and clients to ensure successful project delivery. You'll be responsible for reviewing and managing mechanical designs, driving value engineering initiatives, improving project efficiency and leading construction teams throughout delivery. Responsibilities Manage commercial HVAC projects from tender through to handover Lead design coordination and review mechanical services designs Work closely with estimators during tender submissions Drive value engineering and cost optimisation initiatives Manage project budgets, programmes and delivery Coordinate subcontractors, consultants and builders Provide leadership to Project Teams, Site Managers and subcontractors Attend site meetings and maintain strong client relationships Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget About You To be successful, you'll ideally possess: Mechanical Engineering degree 7 years' experience delivering commercial Mechanical Services / HVAC projects Strong Project Management experience within a mechanical contractor environment Experience managing projects from tender through to completion Strong understanding of HVAC construction methodologies Experience reviewing mechanical designs and coordinating design teams Excellent commercial and contractual awareness Strong leadership and communication skills A collaborative, hands-on management style Projects You'll be delivering major commercial mechanical services projects including: Commercial developments Mixed-use developments Large-scale HVAC construction projects Projects typically valued around $10M What's On Offer Salary from $180,000 - $210,000 Super (negotiable for the right candidate) Company vehicle Genuine leadership opportunity Long-term career progression Strong pipeline of secured commercial projects Stable, growing business with ambitious expansion plans Opportunity to influence projects from concept through to completion Work directly alongside an experienced senior leadership team Immediate start available Why Apply?
