Design Lead, Australia Location: Melbourne Salary: $250k - $350k depending on person Overview MCR are seeking an electrically qualified design leader to oversee the design of large, hyperscale data centre facilities Working directly for a newly created data centre operator who shortly to commence construction on the first phase of a 400MW campus in Melbourne, this role will see you operating as the in country lead for the design Setting the scope for the consultants, you'll oversee the process of consultant selection and ongoing management through this and subsequent projects. Key Requirements Electrical engineering degree holder 3 years' data centre experience Multidisciplinary design experience, with electrical as a core focus Up to speed with emerging technologies such as direct to chip cooling Ability to lead, guide and build a team Willing and able to take occasional travel throughout the APAC region This is a unique opportunity to join a developer in their early stages of building a world class team.
