About the role Join the growing team at Doctors Rooms' as a dedicated Medical Receptionist. In this full-time role based in Bondi Junction, you'll be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience from the moment they arrive. Your administrative expertise and exceptional customer service will be vital in supporting the smooth operation of the medical practice. What you'll be doing Greeting patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner Efficiently managing patient appointments, including booking, rescheduling and cancellations Providing outstanding customer service to patients, both in person and over the phone Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and registration details Assisting with general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying and data entry Ensure billings and payments are done accurately and reconciled at the end of the day. Ensuring the reception area is well-organised and presentable at all times Supporting the medical team as required, including scheduling appointments and relaying messages What we're looking for Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail Proficient in using computer systems and medical practice management software - Genie Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures (desirable) A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care What we offer At Doctors Rooms', we are committed to supporting the professional development and well-being of our employees.
