Project Engineer (Contract – 6 Months | Immediate Start) Project Engineer – Services & Fit Out 6-Month Contract | Immediate Start | $100M Residential Development | Opportunity to Extend An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Project Engineer to join the delivery team on a landmark $100 million residential project . This is an initial 6-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension, offering the chance to play a key role in the successful delivery of the project's services and fit-out packages. Working alongside an experienced project team, you will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors, managing programme outcomes, ensuring quality delivery, and driving project performance through the final stages of construction. About the Role Reporting to the Project Manager, your responsibilities will include: Managing the delivery of building services and fit-out works. Coordinating subcontractors to ensure programme, quality and safety objectives are achieved. Monitoring construction progress and identifying opportunities to improve productivity. Reviewing shop drawings, RFIs, technical documentation and design coordination. Assisting with procurement, contract administration and subcontractor management. Ensuring works are completed in accordance with specifications and project standards. Working closely with consultants, client representatives and site teams to resolve technical issues. Supporting project reporting, forecasting and cost control. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Degree qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline. Proven experience as a Project Engineer on commercial, residential or mixed-use construction projects. Strong knowledge of building services coordination and/or fit-out delivery. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple work fronts in a fast-paced construction environment.
