Role Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Interior Designer to join our team in Rocklea, QLD 4106. This role involves working closely with clients and stakeholders to develop creative design concepts, produce technical documentation, and oversee project delivery from concept to completion. Key Responsibilities: Consult with residential and commercial clients to determine project objectives, functional requirements and design preferences. Develop creative interior design concepts and space-planning solutions that optimise functionality, aesthetics, accessibility, and user experience. Research and analyse design trends, material specifications, and project requirements to inform design development. Prepare detailed design presentations, mood boards, spatial layouts, and 3D visualisations for client review and approval. Produce technical drawings, shop drawings. Select and specify materials, finishes, fixtures, fittings, furniture, in accordance with project requirements. Coordinate with the stakeholders to ensure design intent is accurately implemented. Liaise with clients throughout all project stages, providing professional advice and design solutions to meet project objectives. Conduct site inspections, measure existing spaces, monitor installation works Review project progress, resolve design-related issues Ensure all design solutions comply with workplace health and safety requirements, relevant Australian Standards, and industry best practices. Skills and Qualification: Tertiary qualification in Interior Design or a related field (or equivalent experience) Strong proficiency in design software Demonstrated ability to produce both creative concepts and technical documentation Excellent communication and client liaison skills Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, and fittings Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and resolve design challenges effectively Job Type : Permanent and Full-time Pay: $79,000 - $82,000 per year plus superannuation
