TRAPP WHYTE INVESTMENTS PTY LTD is looking for a motivated and experienced Cafe Supervisor to join our team in Cairns, Queensland. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused hospitality professional who enjoys leading a team in a fast-paced café environment while delivering exceptional food and service. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and support the daily operations of the café. Lead, train and motivate front-of-house team members. Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve customer enquiries professionally. Coordinate staff rosters and allocate daily duties. Monitor food quality, presentation and service standards. Maintain cleanliness, food safety and workplace health and safety standards. Manage stock levels, place orders and minimise waste. Assist with cash handling, point-of-sale operations and end-of-day reconciliations. Work closely with management to achieve sales and operational targets. Skills and Experience: Relevant qualification in Hospitality or a related field, or equivalent industry experience. At least one year of relevant supervisory experience in a café, restaurant or fast-paced hospitality environment. Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills. Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities. Sound knowledge of food safety and workplace health and safety requirements. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
