We are seeking highly resilient and experienced MC Driver for our End Tipper Operations. This role demands a driver who is not only an expert on the road but also mechanically minded and capable of maintaining the truck in peak condition. This is a demanding position that requires a high degree of self-reliance and physical grit. Key Responsibilities: We are seeking MC Driver with physical stamina and mental toughness required for end-tipper operation. Key areas: Manoeuvring vehicles into position for loading and unloading, including reversing MC End Tipper combinations into tight and restricted spaces Loading and unloading vehicles using lifting and tipping devices Observing safety requirements when loading and unloading vehicles Making regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely, including weekly maintenance tasks such as washing, greasing, and fluid top-ups Estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight Ensuring goods are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss and damage Verifying loading documents, checking condition of goods and obtaining certification of deliveries Performing roadside repairs and mechanical upkeep as required (e.g. tyre changes) Managing long-haul fatigue in compliance with Chain of Responsibility and Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) requirements Undertaking FIFO arrangements as required by operational needs Requirements: If you have great communication skills, a high level of physical fitness, and can demonstrate: Valid Australian work rights or appropriate visa. Current MC license with history of safe work practices. Minimum 6 months of experience in operating 18-speed Road Ranger manual transmissions. Minimum 1-2 years of proven MC Experience. Minimum 1 year of experience with End Tipper combinations. Must capable of reversing an A-Double into tight spots. Ability to perform manual labour and mechanical upkeep. Willingness to spend 1-2 days per week away from home (have to sleep in truck for a few nights in extreme cases). Complete flexibility for FIFO rotations and extended shifts as operational needs change.
