The opportunity We offer an exciting full-time opportunity for a passionate and skilled Computer Network and Systems Engineer to join our team. Your duties Design and implement new network solutions, enhance the efficiency of existing networks. Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for complex network and systems issues, including diagnosing root causes, resolving incidents, and restoring services within required timeframes. Manage configuration, integration, upgrades, and patching of hardware, software, and network systems across multi-platform environments, including Windows and Linux-based systems. Implement and maintain network security controls such as firewalls, access control mechanisms, encryption protocols, and monitoring tools to safeguard data and infrastructure. Continuously monitor system performance, network health, security events, and service availability to ensure compliance with service levels and business continuity requirements. Maintain comprehensive network documentation and generate regular performance reports. Desirable skills & experience Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in computing or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role. In-depth comprehension of network technologies including VLANs, VPNs, VMware, ownCloud and Group Policy. Advanced diagnosis skills of technical issues related to end-user hardware & software and network devices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
