Due to continued business growth, we are seeking an experienced ICT Quality Assurance Engineer to join our highly skilled technology team in Darwin. About the Role The ICT Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability and performance of software applications, enterprise systems and digital solutions throughout the software development lifecycle. Working closely with software engineers, business analysts, project managers and DevOps engineers, you will develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies that ensure products meet functional, technical and business requirements before deployment. Key Responsibilities Develop, review and implement quality assurance strategies, standards and testing frameworks. Analyse business and system requirements to prepare comprehensive test plans, test cases and test scripts. Perform functional, integration, system, regression, user acceptance and performance testing. Identify, document, prioritise and track software defects using defect management tools. Work collaboratively with software developers to investigate, reproduce and resolve software issues. Validate software releases and ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards. Execute manual and automated testing for web, mobile, cloud and enterprise applications. Monitor software quality metrics and recommend continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives. Prepare quality assurance documentation, testing reports and release sign-off documentation. Ensure software solutions comply with security, reliability and industry best practices. Support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) testing activities. Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline. At least two years of relevant professional experience as an ICT Quality Assurance Engineer, Software Tester or Quality Assurance Analyst. Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Experience preparing test plans, test cases, defect reports and quality documentation. Knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies. Experience with Agile development environments and DevOps practices. Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively within cross-functional teams. Why Join MYtech Consulting Services?
