What You'll Be Doing Smart meter replacements across residential properties Working within your allocated Brisbane metro area Attending scheduled customer appointments Completing installations safely, efficiently and in accordance with industry standards Completing Site Specific Risk Assessments (SSRAs) Uploading installation photos and required compliance documentation Using our iPad/mobile job management system to complete work orders and submit completed jobs Delivering excellent customer service on site What We Provide Consistent full-time workload (Monday to Friday) Daily jobs allocated close to your local area to minimise travel All scheduling and customer bookings Materials supplied Mobile job management system Training, onboarding and ongoing technical support Dedicated Operations and Field Support team Fortnightly payments Long-term work with ongoing opportunities beyond the Smart Meter rollout Our goal is simple, you focus on completing quality installations while we take care of the customers, scheduling, materials and administration. Essential Requirements Current QLD Electrical Licence Current Electrical Contractor Licence Current ABN Public Liability Insurance (minimum $20 million) Vehicle Insurance White Card CPR & LVR Police Check (issued within the last 6 months) Reliable work vehicle Standard electrical hand tools Battery drill Strong commitment to safety, compliance and customer service Metering Qualification Course Codes: UEEEL0013 or UEENEEG171A or UEEEL0078 Accreditation is a MUST. If you don't currently hold the required metering qualification, Connek can assist successful applicants in obtaining the required Metering Course, subject to terms and conditions. This provides a great opportunity for electricians looking to transition into the metering industry.
