About the Role Join a leading Electrical company working on industrial renewable energy projects, with a focus on solar farm installation and maintenance. We are seeking a Registered Electrician for this project, who has strong industrial electrical experience and can support the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and fault-finding of solar power systems and associated infrastructure Benefits $38 - $45 per hour 8% Holiday Pay KiwiSaver Monday-Friday work with opportunity for weekends Weekly pay cycle Opportunity for career growth & upskilling Competitive pay rate with contracting or PAYE options Key Duties Install, test, and commission electrical systems on utility-scale solar farm and renewable energy projects Install and terminate LV, DC, and communication cabling Install, wire, and commission inverters, transformers, switchboards, and associated equipment Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and construction plans Perform electrical testing, fault-finding, and troubleshooting during installation and commissioning Ensure all work complies with safety standards, regulations, and project specifications Skills & Experience Registered Electrician with valid EWRB Practising License Valid site safe Valid EWP Valid NZ working rights NZ Driver's License Carry out electrical work in light industrial settings, with additional Competent in process control systems and reading electrical plans Culture Electricians enjoy working in this team due to the dedication to quality and commitment to safety.
