About us: Kempy Investment Pty Ltd is a NSW-based privately owned property developer specialising in residential development projects across Sydney and surrounding areas. Since 2023, we have been involved in land acquisition, planning, design coordination, construction delivery and after-sales support. We focus on small to medium-sized residential projects, including detached houses, townhouses and knock-down rebuild developments, working with licensed builders, subcontractors and consultants to deliver quality projects efficiently. About the position: Participated in project front-end planning and feasibility analysis, providing professional engineering advice on land use, site conditions, and infrastructure development. Determine construction methods, material specifications and technical standards, and prepare or review design drawings and construction methodologies. Lead structural scheme reviews, assess foundation bearing capacity and slope stability based on geotechnical reports, devise dewatering and drainage measures, and achieve cost optimization under compliance constraints. Calculate quantities of work and materials in accordance with design drawings and technical specifications, and prepare, review, and monitor the project cost budget accordingly. Prepare site coordination plans, conduct technical checks and quality control, and ensure works comply with design drawings and building standards. Liaise with external technical consultants and partners, and represent the company in coordinating design variations and resolving technical issues arising on site. Prepare project completion technical documents, summarise key data on structural design, foundation treatment and cost control, and maintain internal technical knowledge and design review standards. Qualifications & experience Bachelor degree or above in a relevant field At least 3 years relevant experience in civil engineering or construction Ability to interpret and draft drawings and technical specifications Good understanding of construction quality and compliance Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to coordinate with contractors and project teams
