Lead the Delivery of a Major Greenfield Power Infrastructure Project A rare opportunity exists for a highly experienced Construction Manager to lead the successful delivery of a major power plant project from greenfield development through to commissioning and final handover. This pivotal leadership role will initially be based in Brisbane during the project preparation and mobilisation phase before transitioning to a full on-site leadership role in Central Queensland, throughout the construction delivery phase. With significant project investment, tight delivery milestones, and multiple subcontractor streams across civil, electrical, mechanical, and safety disciplines, this role will suit a driven and commercially astute construction leader who thrives in high-pressure project environments. Your Opportunity Joining a high-performing project team, you will take full responsibility for the construction execution strategy, subcontractor coordination, safety leadership, programme delivery, and successful project completion across a large-scale industrial energy infrastructure development. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring exceptional stakeholder management, technical project oversight, and the ability to drive performance across multiple disciplines while ensuring deadlines, compliance, and quality outcomes are consistently achieved. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end construction delivery of a greenfield power plant project, managing and coordinating all subcontractors across: Civil construction Electrical installation Mechanical works OH&S and compliance Other key areas for success will be: Drive project execution in line with programme deadlines and budget Oversee site mobilisation, construction sequencing, and contractors Ensure all works comply with Australian Safety Standards and project specifications Manage project reporting, risk mitigation, quality assurance, and stakeholder communication Coordinate closely with engineering, commissioning, and client-side project teams Support successful commissioning, practical completion, and final handover About You You are an experienced Construction Manager with a strong track record delivering large-scale industrial, infrastructure, energy, or power generation projects. You are commercially minded, technically capable, and comfortable leading complex site operations under demanding timeframes.
