We are seeking a skilled and motivated Auto Electrician to join our team, supporting our mobile asphalt and heavy vehicle fleet across South-East Queensland. This is a hands-on role working on a diverse range of modern asphalt equipment and trucks, ensuring reliability, safety, and operational performance. Working Monday to Friday with opportunities for overtime, nights, and weekends when available, this role is offering a competitive hourly rate plus penalties, tool of the trade vehicle and superannuation. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems on asphalt paving equipment and heavy vehicles. Fault finding on complex electrical, CANBUS, and control systems. Carry out preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs in both workshop and field environments. Install and repair lighting, sensors, control systems, and safety equipment. Maintain accurate service records and job documentation. Work collaboratively with operations and maintenance teams to minimise downtime. What you will need Trade qualified Auto Electrician. Experience with heavy vehicles, construction, or asphalt equipment (highly regarded). Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills. Ability to work independently in field-based environments.
