Role overview The Forklift Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient handling of solar panels, batteries, electrical equipment, and other heavy materials within Coreworx Solar and Electrical Pty Ltd’s warehouse and logistics operations. The role ensures timely loading, unloading, storage, and dispatch of goods, supports installation teams by maintaining smooth material flow, and upholds workplace health and safety standards. By enabling efficient logistics and reducing risks of damage or delay, the Forklift Driver contributes directly to operational productivity and project delivery. Key responsibilities Operate forklifts and pallet trucks to move, stack, and organise goods safely. Load and unload deliveries of solar panels, batteries, and electrical equipment. Ensure safe handling of fragile and heavy materials to prevent damage. Support warehouse operations by maintaining efficient storage and dispatch systems. Conduct routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs. Follow workplace health and safety procedures and compliance requirements. Coordinate with warehouse and installation teams to ensure timely material flow. Keep accurate records of goods movement and handling activities. Qualifications and skills Minimum AQF Certificate II or III in Warehousing, Logistics, or related field (preferred). Valid Forklift Licence (mandatory under workplace health and safety regulations). 1–2 years of practical experience in forklift operations, warehousing, or logistics. Knowledge of workplace safety standards and compliance requirements. Ability to handle heavy and fragile materials safely and efficiently.
