Seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to support the smooth operation of our finance function. This role covers AP/AR, month-end reporting, and key compliance and asset management activities, requiring a proactive, accuracy-focused self-starter Client Details Our client is a recent start up and rapidly growing Australian business specialising in pump hire and dewatering solutions for the mining, civil and infrastructure sectors based in Perth's southern suburbs. Description Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes Process invoices, payments, and reconcile customer and supplier accounts Monitor debtor balances and follow up on outstanding payments Prepare month-end balance sheet and bank reconciliations Support month-end reporting and provide variance commentary Process and reconcile credit card transactions and ensure compliance Maintain accurate financial records, including fixed asset register Assist with finance leases, insurance, and PPSR registrations Support commission calculations and general finance administration Profile A successful Accountant (Part Time) should have: A degree or qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end processes Familiarity with PPSR registrations and fixed asset accounting is highly regarded Experience in the rental hire industry and/or mining industry is highly regarded High attention to detail and strong organisational skills Proficiency with accounting software (Xero) and Microsoft Excel Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work with management based in Melbourne Job Offer Competitive salary up to $50,000 superannuation for part time role.
