Macc Homes Victoria Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineering Draftsperson to join our growing team. The successful candidate will support Civil Engineers and Engineering Technologists by preparing detailed technical drawings, plans, and documentation for a range of civil engineering projects while ensuring compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and project specifications. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed sketches, drawings, plans, charts, tabulations, and designs for civil engineering works, including: Drainage systems Water supply and sewerage reticulation systems Other civil engineering structures Perform and assist with fieldwork and laboratory testing. Interpret work instructions, apply appropriate engineering procedures, and select suitable equipment. Collect, analyse, and process engineering data and carry out technical computations. Estimate material quantities and costs while ensuring completed works comply with specifications, regulations, and contract requirements. Inspect civil engineering projects and assist in organising and supervising maintenance and repair activities. Conduct field and laboratory testing of construction materials and soils. Collect and analyse data for traffic surveys and other engineering investigations. Work closely with engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved. Skills and Qualifications Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering Drafting, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. Experience preparing civil engineering drawings and technical documentation. Proficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design applications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities. Good communication and teamwork skills. Knowledge of Australian engineering standards and construction practices is desirable. Registration or licensing may be required where applicable.
