Retail Manager – AHI Private Pty Ltd (Subway Tugun) Full-time | $80,000 – $86,000 per annum Tugun, QLD About the Role AHI Private Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to oversee day-to-day store operations, drive sales performance, and ensure high standards of customer service, compliance, and staff management. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who can balance operational efficiency with commercial growth. Job Responsibilities: Planning and managing daily retail operations, including stock control, product availability, merchandising, and customer service standards to ensure smooth and profitable store performance. Developing and implementing purchasing, pricing, promotional, and marketing strategies in line with Subway brand standards to maximise sales and customer engagement. Monitoring sales performance, preparing budgets, controlling operational costs, and analysing financial reports to achieve business targets and profitability. Maintaining accurate records of stock levels, sales transactions, staff performance, expenses, and store operations using point-of-sale and inventory systems. Ensuring the consistent preparation, presentation, and quality of Subway food products in accordance with company procedures, food safety regulations, and customer expectations. Managing inventory and supplier coordination, including ordering stock, monitoring deliveries, controlling wastage, and maintaining appropriate stock levels. Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety, food hygiene, sanitation, and occupational safety regulations at all times. Recruiting, training, supervising, and rostering staff, while supporting employee development and maintaining a productive team environment. Providing customer service by assisting customers with product selection, responding to enquiries, and resolving customer complaints and operational issues efficiently. Monitoring staff productivity and store presentation standards to ensure efficient operations and compliance with Subway operational procedures. Organising promotional campaigns, combo offers, and local area marketing activities to increase customer traffic and maintain brand visibility. Liaising with senior management and suppliers regarding sales performance, operational improvements, staffing requirements, and business development opportunities. Requirements Minimum Diploma in Leadership and Management (or related field). At least 1 year of experience working as a Retail Manager. Strong leadership, organisational, and people-management skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple operational priorities.
