Job Description We are seeking an experienced and professional Medical Receptionist to join a busy specialist private practice in East Toowoomba on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive, close-knit team in a well-established and highly regarded practice. About the role This is a key front-of-house position within a fast-paced specialist clinic, where you will be the first and last point of contact for patients. You will predominantly perform shifts on Monday and Tuesday between 8.30am - 6.00pm but availability for additional hours for holiday relief Monday to Thursday. Start and finish times may vary depending on business needs. Flexibility is highly regarded, with additional Friday work required to support visiting specialists or to cover staff leave. Your responsibilities will include delivering a consistently high standard of service, ensuring patients feel welcomed and genuinely supported in a warm understanding manner. You will demonstrate: A reliable, professional and compassionate approach when liaising with patients, practitioners and stakeholders, always maintaining strict confidentiality Proven experience with practice management systems, Medicare, health fund and private billing, along with the ability to quickly learn new systems and continuously build your knowledge. Familiarity with Genie Solutions, Xestro and Medical Objects is preferred.
