THE ROLE – CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICER / BUILDER LIAISON This maternity leave contract runs until June 2027 and offers genuine potential for a permanent position for the right candidate. Based within our Structural & Building Materials division, the customer Service Officer You will play a key role, supporting builders, suppliers, and internal stakeholders by creating a smooth, stress-free experience by delivering accurate, timely, and professional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Success in this role requires a proactive and detail-focused person who is confident in communication, capable of problem-solving, and able to work collaboratively while managing multiple priorities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES Be the first point of contact for builders and their trades Build and maintain strong relationships with builders and their trades Keep orders, quotes and deliveries moving smoothly Coordinate delivery stages and manage timelines Troubleshoot issues and provide practical solutions Keep customers informed and updated Work closely with Account Managers, Warehouse and Purchasing teams to ensure the best customer experience. QUALIFICATIONS | EXPERIENCE | CAPABILITIES Versatile background in customer service or similar support roles Clear, confident communication and a warm, professional manner Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy (essential) Excellent time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment Experience in the building or plumbing industry is advantageous, but not essential A positive, ‘can do’ attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team APPLY NOW To be considered for this position click “APPLY” now.
