About the Opportunity Based in Wagga Wagga, this role is a critical position within our local plumbing and maintenance business. We are seeking an organised and proactive Administrator to manage our core operational functions. The Role & Career Path You will be responsible for the daily administrative operations of the company, ensuring seamless coordination between our office and our on-site plumbing team. This position offers a clear career progression path. For the right candidate, there is the opportunity to transition into a Contracts Administration role as you gain experience with our project lifecycles and business operations. Key responsibilities include: • Financial Admin: Managing payroll, invoicing, and accounts receivable/payable. • Operations: Overseeing inventory levels and coordinating stock requirements. • Liaison: Acting as the primary point of contact for the on-site team and clients. • Customer Service: Managing inquiries and providing professional support to our client base. • Process Management: Adhering to and maintaining established business procedures and documentation. Selection Criteria The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of accountability and a professional approach to conflict resolution. Requirements: • Technical Proficiency: Competency in the Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint). • Software Experience: Familiarity with accounting software (Xero) and trade-based platforms (SimPro) is highly regarded. • Administrative Excellence: Strong organisational skills with impeccable attention to detail. • Communication: High-level customer service skills and the ability to work under pressure as part of a team. • Industry Knowledge: A basic understanding of the plumbing or construction industry is preferred.
