Due to ongoing business expansion, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Administrator to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. Position Summary The Network Administrator will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and ongoing support of the organisation’s network infrastructure. The role requires ensuring optimal network performance, security, and availability, while supporting business operations and future growth. This position is a genuine full-time role and forms a critical part of the organisation’s IT function. Key Duties and Responsibilities Installing, configuring, and maintaining network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems Monitoring network performance and ensuring high availability and reliability of systems Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues Managing and maintaining Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), Virtual Private Networks (VPN), and cloud-based networks Implementing and maintaining network security measures including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controls Performing system upgrades, patches, backups, and disaster recovery procedures Maintaining accurate documentation of network configurations, processes, and changes Providing technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders Liaising with external vendors and service providers for system support and upgrades Ensuring compliance with organisational policies, industry standards, and cybersecurity best practices Skills and Experience Required Relevant bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field At least 3 years of relevant work experience as a Network Administrator or closely related role Strong knowledge of networking protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing/switching technologies Experience managing enterprise-grade network infrastructure and security systems Familiarity with cloud networking environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues Strong documentation, communication, and analytical skills Preferred Qualifications Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent Experience in hybrid or multi-site network environments Knowledge of scripting or automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python) Employment Conditions This is a full-time, permanent position The salary offered is $100,000 Plus Super The role is based in Albury and requires on-site and/or hybrid work as per business needs How to Apply Please submit your resume and cover letter detailing your qualifications and relevant experience.
