Requirements Project Engineer – Electrical & Communications CV INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICES The Opportunity We are seeking a Project Engineer to join CV Infrastructure Services, supporting the delivery of electrical and communications projects. This role offers a balance of office-based design work and on-site involvement, working closely with internal design teams and construction partners to ensure projects are delivered safely, accurately, and to specification. About the Role As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role across the full project lifecycle—from site investigations and design development through to construction support and final certification. Key responsibilities include: Reviewing existing electrical and communications installations to inform design outcomes Conducting maximum demand assessments for new and existing installations Undertaking LV and communications site investigations to verify as-constructed information Preparing high-quality technical reports, specifications, Bills of Quantities, and tender documentation Managing and supporting a design team of engineers and draftspersons to deliver detailed IFC designs Providing technical support to electrical contractors during construction to ensure compliance with design documentation Supervising and verifying installations at hold and witness points, including review of photos, test sheets, and checklists Assisting with final works package certification Attending, documenting, and contributing to Safety in Design workshops Qualifications You will hold one of the following: Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, or Diploma of Electrical Engineering, or Queensland Electrical Licence (current or previous) Experience & Skills To be successful in this role, you will bring: A practical, hands-on understanding of electrical works 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role within the electrical and communications field Basic working knowledge of AutoCAD Experience using LV maximum demand software Construction supervision experience Safety in Design experience Proven ability to prepare technical reports and design specification documentation Why Join CV Infrastructure Services Exposure to diverse electrical and infrastructure projects Supportive, collaborative engineering environment Opportunity to work across both design and delivery Career growth within a well-established Australian organisation Apply Now If you’re looking for a role that offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to work on meaningful infrastructure projects, we’d love to hear from you.
