We are seeking Commissioning Engineers to support the delivery and energisation of greenfield and brownfield HV substations, along with utility-scale renewable energy projects. Reporting to the Commissioning Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating commissioning activities, leading energisation works, and ensuring assets are safely brought online and meet grid requirements. You will work closely with project teams, OEMs, and network operators throughout the commissioning phase. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate commissioning and energisation activities for HV substations and renewable assets Execute commissioning in line with approved procedures, schedules, and safety requirements Manage on-site activities during plant start-up and grid synchronisation Coordinate with contractors, OEMs, and stakeholders during commissioning phases Support troubleshooting and issue resolution during initial operations Work closely with SCADA and control teams to ensure systems are operational and integrated Liaise with clients, TNSPs, and relevant stakeholders during commissioning and handover Requirements Degree in Electrical Engineering or Advanced Diploma in Power Systems Minimum 3 years' experience in commissioning of HV substations and/or renewable energy projects in Australia Hands-on experience with energisation, switching, and site-based commissioning activities Solid understanding of power systems, protection, and control systems Familiarity with Australian grid connection processes and stakeholder environments (TNSPs, AEMO) Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills Full time working rights in Australia Why Join Work on high-impact renewable and HV infrastructure projects across Australia Be part of a growing and highly specialised engineering team Competitive salary with strong project exposure Flexible working arrangements with a Melbourne base Looking to grow your career with a fast-growing company?
