As an Electronic Engineering Technician at MySmart, you will be responsible for supporting the installation, testing, and maintenance of smart building and lighting control systems. This position requires strong technical problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Responsibilities and Tasks: Install and configure programmable lighting control systems including KNX, Dynalite, DALI, C-Bus and Zencontrol platforms. Assemble, test and integrate electronic components, controllers, relays, sensors and communication modules. Configure networked lighting control devices and wireless automation systems. Assist in preparing technical documentation including schematics and manuals and user guidance documentation. Conduct functional testing of lighting control systems to ensure correct operation according to technical specifications. Perform commissioning of electronic control systems and verify system performance. Identify faults and undertake diagnostic testing using specialised tools and software. Adjust system parameters to optimise performance and energy efficiency. Provide technical support during installation and post-installation phases. Troubleshoot system malfunctions and implement corrective measures. Maintain and service electronic lighting and automation systems. Prepare service and commissioning reports documenting system performance and rectifications. Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams and project specifications. Ensure installations comply with relevant Australian Standards and safety regulations. Maintain accurate technical documentation and records. Conduct site inspections and assist with system handovers. Provide technical training to clients on system operation and maintenance. Liaise with electricians, contractors and project supervisors to ensure smooth system integration. Qualifications and Skills: Relevant qualification (Bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering or related field). Minimum 1 year experience as an Electronic Engineering Technician. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $76,000 - $100,000 p.a plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
