Your impact, with us As our highly valued Field Services Engineer, you will provide IT support to the Advara HeartCare practices and Shared Services and ensure the diverse IT systems environment meets the application and technology needs of our teams. The role will work in conjunction with Technical Support Specialists to deliver software and hardware support, assisting with local technology remediation activities, as well as IT Infrastructure Project implementations across the network You’ll make a meaningful impact by: Provide technical support for local end-users, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues in line with ITIL best practices. Accept escalations for IT incidents and requests which are not able to be addressed by level 1 IT staff and see them through to resolution Manage and support Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, OneDrive) and Windows-based environments Support of on-site technology such as network, server, telephony and printers Troubleshoot networking issues, including VLANs, firewalls, and VPN connections Provide end-user support and troubleshooting for healthcare-specific applications, including electronic medical records (EMR) and PACS/DICOM viewers Triage, coordinate or lead investigations into significant incidents and hazards Provide cross-functional IT support, including occasional service desk and phone coverage to maintain service continuity during staff absences or peak demand. What you’ll bring To succeed in this role, you will have: 5 years of experience in IT support, preferably in a healthcare or clinical environment. Tertiary or equivalent computing related qualification preferred Commercial IT qualifications e.g. short technical courses in particular systems, IT products, etc ITIL Foundation Certification Understanding of patient management and clinical workflows Able to support a variety of IT platforms and environments Able and willing to configure PC, network and server hardware Strong technology and systems background Exposure to Windows desktop and server operating systems Printer installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
