The ideal candidate is a hands-on Engineering Manager who can lead a small, highly skilled platform team (Infrastructure, Platform and Automation Engineers) within a complex enterprise environment. Responsibilities include (yet are not limited to) - Leading and developing a talented team of 3 engineers Owning delivery of platform and infrastructure initiatives Driving Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD and automation best practice Overseeing containerised environments (Docker/Kubernetes) in production Partnering with technical and operational stakeholders across a global environment Ensure reliable, scalable and resilient platform operations Staying resilient and confident in your leadership, taking accountability and leading from the front Requirements include - 10 years’ engineering experience in platform or infrastructure environments 5 years leading small, skilled engineering teams Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Puppet or Ansible) Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines Solid containerisation experience (Docker and/or Kubernetes) Scripting capability (Python or Shell preferred) Experience delivering to tight timeframes and managing stakeholder expectations Confident communicator and influencer If your experience is aligned and you'd be interested in learning more, please apply for immediate consideration.
