Are you a visionary IT professional with deep expertise in cloud technologies? We’re seeking a dynamic Infrastructure and Cloud Team Engineer to drive innovation and excellence across our infrastructure landscape. You’ll manage a talented team of professionals, while supporting strategic business outcomes. The Role: Based in Doncaster you will be responsible for maintaining and evolving cloud and on-prem infrastructure environments that underpin business operations. You’ll work across a broad range of systems and technologies to ensure consistent performance, reliability, and security of platforms and services. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and support core infrastructure components, including servers, networks, and security systems Maintain a consistent and secure environment across all operational systems Monitor infrastructure capacity and system performance to support future growth Keep technical documentation and standards up to date Lead or support infrastructure-related projects from planning through to delivery Provide technical input for new solution design and implementation Stay up to date with developments in infrastructure and cloud technologies to identify opportunities for enhancement Support business continuity and disaster recovery strategies, ensuring operational readiness Key Requirements: 5–7 years’ experience in a hands-on infrastructure, cloud, or systems engineering role Demonstrated experience in Azure, AWS, and Microsoft 365 environments Solid background in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange Experience with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g. Terraform or similar) Experience supporting or working with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes Familiarity with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, or similar) is advantageous Experience working with or supporting .NET (C#) application environments is desirable Knowledge of IT security principles and risk mitigation strategies Experience with backup solutions, disaster recovery tools, and storage platforms Ability to develop and maintain documentation and operational procedures Confident in planning and delivering technical projects independently Adaptable, positive & can-do attitude Benefits: Immediate start Respected organisation with stability & security Support & guidance from experienced managers Positive & rewarding team culture Future career progression where great work is recognised & rewarded Up to date technology & a modern office environment Please note: A criminal background check and a written assessment will make up part of the recruitment process.
