About the Role Reporting to the GM Retail, you will lead a diverse portfolio of stores, delivering sales growth, operational excellence and outstanding customer experiences. You’ll be equally comfortable: Driving commercial performance Coaching and developing leaders Partnering with franchisees Rolling up your sleeves in-store when it matters What You’ll Be Responsible For Driving Performance Deliver sales, profit and LFL growth across your region Lift store productivity (UPT, ATV, conversion) Use data to identify opportunities and act quickly Leading People Coach and develop high-performing Store Managers Build leadership capability and succession pipelines Create a strong, values-led team culture Elevating the Customer Experience Champion a consistent, engaging in-store experience Drive NPS and Booklover engagement Bring the Dymocks brand to life in every store Operational Excellence Ensure strong inventory, VM and cost control disciplines Deliver consistent execution of campaigns and initiatives Maintain high compliance across all stores Franchise & Stakeholder Management Build trusted partnerships with franchisees Collaborate across Retail, Marketing, Merchandising and People & Culture Act as a key link between stores and support office What Success Looks Like Sales targets consistently achieved or exceeded Positive LFL growth across the region Strong NPS and customer engagement results High-performing, engaged store teams Consistent execution across all stores Desired Skills and Experience About You You’re a proven retail leader who knows how to balance commercial outcomes with people and culture . You’ll bring: 5 years' experience in multi-site retail leadership A track record of delivering sales growth and profitability Strong coaching and leadership capability Commercial acumen and confidence using data to drive decisions Experience working with franchise networks (highly regarded) Most importantly—you’re someone who leads with energy, authenticity and a genuine passion for retail and the customer experience.
